1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Forklet™ (the “Service”), operated by Assistant Management LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Forklet is a recipe management, meal planning, and food event platform available as a mobile application and web service. Features include AI-powered recipe extraction, grocery list management, kitchen cooking mode, calendar planning, and subscription-based premium features.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Forklet Pro is a paid subscription offering additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and managed via your Apple ID account. Subscription pricing is displayed in the app prior to purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of recipes, notes, and other content you create or import through the Service (“User Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We will not sell or share your User Content with third parties for advertising purposes.

6. Recipe Extraction

The Service includes AI-powered extraction of recipes from URLs and media. Extracted recipes are for personal use. We do not claim ownership of third-party recipe content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of extracted content complies with the original source's terms. Attribution to original creators is provided where available.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (c) use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal usage; (d) harass, abuse, or harm other users; (e) impersonate any person or entity; (f) upload malicious code or content.

8. Intellectual Property

Forklet™ is a trademark of Assistant Management LLC. The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-extracted recipes, nutritional information, or food safety guidance. Always use your own judgment when preparing food. We are not responsible for adverse reactions to recipes, ingredients, or dietary suggestions provided through the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assistant Management LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ashtabula County, Ohio.
